November through to the end of April is the dry season, being the period of the north east monsoon, with air temperatures in the region of 30-35°C. During the month of May the wind changes around with the southwest monsoon season setting in until October; this is the rainy season, although the showers can be heavy, they don’t usually last for too long and some excellent weather can be enjoyed, with slightly lower temperatures.
