PADI Advanced Open Water:

Padi Advanced Open Water DiverAfter your five dives, you’ll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

What do I need to start?

Leopard Shark

  • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

What will I do?

This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:

  • Boat Diver
  • Drift Diver
  • Deep Diver
  • Diver Propulsion Vehicle
  • Multilevel Diver
  • Night Diver
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy
  • Search and Recovery Diver
  • Underwater Naturalist
  • Underwater Videographer
  • Underwater Photographer
  • Underwater Navigator
  • AWARE Fish Identification
  • Wreck Diver

 

How long will it take?

  • Recommended Course Hours: 15
  • Minimum Open Water Training: five dives over two days

Where can I go from here?

Advanced DiverPADI Advanced Open Water Divers at least 15 years of age can enroll in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Specialty courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver course.
PADI Adventure Dives can also credit towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver certifications.

Itinerary :

Advanced Diver2 dives and 3 dives per day
Destinations: Racha Yai, Shark Point, Anemone Reef, Koh Dok Mai or Phi Phi Island.

Day 1:
  • 07.30 a.m. Hotel pick up
  • 08.15 a.m. Arrive at Chalong Bay, underway to the dive site
  • 10.30 a.m. First dive – training skills with Instructor
  • 12.00 a.m. Lunch on board
  • 01.00 p.m. Second dive – training skill with Instructor
  • 03.30 p.m. Return to Chalong Bay
  • 04.30 p.m. Back to hotel ( for 3 dives day or Phi Phi trip back at 06.00 p.m. )
Day 2:
  • 07.30 a.m. Hotel pick up
  • 08.15 a.m. Arrive at Chalong Bay, underway to the dive site
  • 10.30 a.m. First dive – training skills with Instructor
  • 12.00 a.m. Lunch on board
  • 01.00 p.m. Second dive – training skill with Instructor – Certification procedures
  • 03.30 p.m. Return to Chalong Bay
  • 04.30 p.m. Back to hotel ( for 3 dives day or Phi Phi trip back at 06.00 p.m. )

Included :

  • 5 Ocean dives ( 2 boat trips ) 2 Core dives and 3 Specialty dives
  • Full set of equipment for the course duration
  • Recompression Chamber and Accident Insurance fee
  • Light breakfast, lunch, fruits and soft drinks on the boat trip
